Department Connectivity
A variety of networks connect County departments. These
departments include: County Clerk, Circuit Clerk, Courts, GIS, Land
Use, Recorder of Deeds, Treasurer and other administrative offices
throughout Will County. Each department manages their own respective
network with the Support division serving as either a place to house
the network or give support in certain situations.
Support monitors and troubleshoots mid-range and mainframe resources.
The Support division upgrades and enhances the Wide Area Network (WAN),
and provides E-mail, Internet, Intranet and training services for
County departments.
The Support division also monitors and troubleshoots the county-wide
data communication network. This includes full period data lines,
as well as wireless connections.
