JOB TITLE: Legal Secretary/Felony Division
GENERAL DUTIES & BACKGROUND:
Provide clerical support to Assistant State’s Attorneys by preparing legal documents, correspondence and any other miscellaneous paperwork. Responsible for telephone and written notification of witnesses, filing, creating files, data entry and operating standard office machines, including the latest computer equipment. Responsible for maintaining upkeep of daily court call and database for faxed police reports. Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Prior Legal Secretary Experience
- Familiarity with SAO procedures
- Working knowledge and understanding of JANO
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Accurate typing skills of 50 wpm
- Familiarity with Windows/WIN98/MS
Word/WordPerfect
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must undergo background check

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Assumes direct responsibility and accountability for nursing care of facility residents under his\her care. Direct the unit assignments of the unit personnel, including LPNs, CNAs, and CRAs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to defining, planning, organizing, directing, managing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to facility residents.
Must be a graduate of an approved RN program. Must have successfully passed the Illinois Licensure examination and currently be licensed in the state of Illinois. Two years experience in a charge nurse role. Pre-employment physical, drug screening, and a background check are required.

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and successfully completed an approved course for CNA training; valid CNA certificate with the state of Illinois required. A pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen are required. Six months CNA experience required.
