County Executive Appoints Four Residents to Boards and Commissions

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant named four residents to boards and commissions in February. The appointments were approved by the County Board at its monthly meeting on Friday, Feb. 25.

Roger Heldt will continue to serve as Washington Township Drainage District #1 Commissioner. Heldt has served on this commission since 2006.

Stephen Spontak has been appointed to the Northwest Homer Fire Protection District to fill a vacant term until May 2024. Spontak is an emergency room physician with the Emergency Medical Associates of Palos and a resident of Will County, who is familiar with the importance of efficient fire protection services.

Kerry Morris has been appointed to the Godley Public Water District Commission to fill a vacant term until May 2024. Morris is a local school bus driver and a 26-year resident of Will County.

Christina Holston has been appointed to the Will County Historic Preservation Commission, filling a vacancy . Holston is a founding member and President of the Monee Historical Society and has been active in historic preservation for more than 20 years.
