Job TitleRecovery Support Specialist/Recovery Home Manager

Job SummaryReside at and manage daily operations at Will County-owned recovery home, including being present in the home between 11:00pm and 6:00am daily. Conduct nightly check to ensure all residents are present and maintain log of nightly checks. Become familiar with alarm system and arm and disable alarm daily. Orient new residents to the rules and expectations of the recovery home and screen new residents’ belongings. Facilitate resident discharge. Conduct weekly community meeting for residents. Assign and coordinate house chores and cleaning duties and inspect recovery home for cleanliness. Monitor resident behavior and activities and report to Problem-Solving Court staff. Performs and/or supervises routine maintenance of the home and grounds (e.g Grass cutting, weeding, gardening). Report maintenance needs to Problem-Solving Court Coordinator. Maintain records on all residents, including documentation of orientation. Become familiar with recovery home handbook and follow recovery home policies and procedures. Model recovery to residents. Perform and observe drug testing for residents. Facilitate recovery support meetings for program participants. Familiarize program participants with 12-step programs and other recovery support services. Maintain working relationships with community organizations and members of the recovery community. Attend conferences and workshops (ICB, All Rise, etc.) . Develop and coordinate alumni support program. Occasionally provide transport or residents and program participants. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications1. CPRSS or CRSS Certification or willingness to obtain within two years of hire. 2. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. 3. Good oral and written communications skills. 4. Must undergo background check and driving abstract. 5. Must possess a valid driver's license. 6. At least five years of sustained recovery from all illicit substances, alcohol, and cannabis.
Salary Range$45,000/annual (Exempt)
