These four (4) teenagers were occupants in a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse passenger car registered to Cheyenne Fender.  The vehicle was recovered by the Wilmington Fire Department submerged under water off Ballou Road approximately ¼ mile west of Warner Bridge Road, Wesley Township.   All the occupants were pronounced deceased on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 9:43 a.m. at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remains under investigation.  The Will County Sheriff’s Police are investigating the incident. 

Preliminary autopsy findings for all four (4) victims is drowning. The manner of death will be determined pending completed autopsy and toxicology reports and police investigation.
