The County intends to submit its 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and its PY 2020 Annual Action Plan in the amount of $2,115,135 for Community Development Block Grant funds and $1,254,075 for HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) CONSORTIUM funds, and $146,094 for ESG program.  These amounts are based on published HUD allocations.  The County Action Plan includes spending of HOME Consortium funds in Will County, the City of Joliet and Village of Bolingbrook.  The 2020-24 Consolidated Plan and FY 2020 Annual Action Plan will be submitted to HUD on or before September 15, 2020.  

The City of Joliet, Illinois, does hereby invite sealed bids for construction of a water system interconnection in Lockport Township supported by Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) funding.

JOLIET – The annual book collection event sponsored by the Will County Land Use Department’s Resource Recovery and Energy Division and the Joliet Park District each June has been rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Will County anticipates receiving Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Consortium funds and ESG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the period of October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021 (PY 2020) and is presently accepting proposals for CDBG Public Service, Public Facilities and Improvements and HOME grant funds.

PURPOSE:
In accordance with the Asbestos Abatement Act for Public and Private Schools, the Commercial and Public Building Act and Code, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) shall license asbestos abatement contracting companies that conduct response actions to remove, encapsulate or enclose friable asbestos-containing building materials. The contractor shall meet the qualifications commensurate with Section 855.110 (b) of the Asbestos Abatement for Public and Private Schools and Commercial and Public Buildings Act and Code; Will County seeks to solicit proposals from qualified individuals or firms to assist the County in obtaining asbestos inspections, cost estimating services, asbestos abatement projection, and/or remediation for properties scheduled for demolition, rehabilitation, and/or aquisition.
