PUBLIC NOTICE WILL COUNTY LAND USE DEPARTMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR
RESIDENTIAL CLEARANCE AND DEBRIS REMOVAL SERVICES

PURPOSE:

Will County seeks to solicit proposals from qualified individuals or firms to assist the County in the interior and exterior cleanup of a house located at 2928 W. Indiana Avenue in Beecher, IL 60401.

Services include:

• Cleanup of interior of house
• Removal of debris and garbage around exterior of house

Information to be included in the proposal:

1. A profile of the company

2. A Summary of past record of performance of the firm and personnel with respect to restoration, cleanup, and debris and garbage removal.

3. A cost of services for the interior and exterior clearance and debris removal per cubic yard of debris.  

4. Proof of insurances (General Liability and Workers Compensation).

5. References from previous clients within the past five years.

Method of Selection:

Proposals will be reviewed by an evaluation team for the purpose of identifying and recommending those individuals offering, in total, the overall cost for services, expedient service delivery, the highest qualifications, and experience with these types of projects. The individuals or firms recommended may also be interviewed by members of the evaluation team for the express intention of recommending a final individual or firm to perform this work for Will County.

Attention of proposals is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. MBE/WBE: Women and Minority Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit proposal.

Will County requires all proposals to follow Illinois Prevailing Wage rates.

No proposal may be withdrawn within 30 days after the actual date of the deadline thereof.

There will be a mandatory walkthrough prior to the proposal due date on March 7, 2019 at 11:00am at 2928 W. Indiana Avenue in Beecher, IL 60401.

Please submit 1 original and 1 copy containing all materials in an opaque sealed envelope with a cover letter. All materials may be submitted to the attention of Rebecca DeGroate, Will County Land Use Department, during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
