Workforce Center Resource Fair set for Aug. 3

JOLIET – The Workforce Center of Will County will host a resource fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3.

Attendees can sign up for a variety of Workforce Center Services, such as career scholarships, resume reviews, mock interviews, career planning and on-the-job training. 

They also will learn about other services available to residents, like the Veterans Affairs Commission.

Job seekers can also meet with hiring departments for Will County Circuit Clerk, County Clerk, Laraway Communication Center (911), Sunny Hill Nursing Home and Illinois Department of Corrections.

Food trucks will be on site. For those who register onsite and visit enough tables, lunch will be free.
