Welcome to Will County, Illinois Website

Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant, and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Renovation to begin on front of County Office Building

Business will continue uninterrupted during construction

JOLIET – Construction on the entrance to the County Office Building and the driveway will begin on Monday, May 3, and the project is scheduled to be completed June 30.

County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant said, “We want to assure people that the building will remain open during the two months this work is going on.

“The main difference for staff and the public is that they will enter and exit through the east door, which is the entry nearest the County Clerk’s office, and the driveway leading to the building will be closed. All cars will need to enter the parking lot through the north end.”

Bertino-Tarrant reminds people to call before going to any County office, as has been the protocol during the pandemic.
