Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Please explore our website which is filled with important information about services and departments within the County Executive office as well as connections to other county officials’ websites.

Will County is diverse, vibrant, and filled with hard-working people. We have room to grow and we look forward to a great future.

Workforce Center of Will County to host weekly job fair Oct. 11

Area job seekers are invited to attend a weekly job fair at the Workforce Center of Will County from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11.

Among the positions employers will be looking to fill are cage supervisor, cook, count employee, direct support professional, food production workers, forklift operators, home care aide, loaders/unloaders, order selectors, respite care worker, security officers, shift supervisor, special education paraprofessional, tasker/scheduler, VIP Coordinator, and more.

WCWC Manager Susan Flessner said the events allow job seekers to meet with several employers at once.

“These job fairs are an efficient way for both job seekers and employers,” Flessner said. “Someone looking for a job can make many contacts in one day and employers are able to interview people on the spot.”

The weekly events are held at the Workforce Center of Will County, 2400 Glenwood Ave., Suite 100. The day and times vary.

Will County Executive Larry Walsh encourages job seekers to be prepared to take advantage of the weekly events.

“The Workforce Center of Will County is the place to go to find a job,” he said. “Susan Flessner and her staff work hard to organize these weekly job fairs that bring multiple employers to one location at one time.”
